So much going on with the getting the Plan ready for submission!!!

SERVICE CENTRE STATUS
We have received questions from Residents about the current staus of the Village as a Local Service Centre.  This update is the position as we believe it to be!!
The Parish Council voted to change its view in line with the NP4Yaxham survey result which showed that the parish wanted to remain "a small rural village". However, the Service Centre designation is down to Breckland, who are still in favour of the status. Full details on this matter are on http://www.np4yaxham.com/breckland-local-plan.html  This includes document submitted to Breckland on why Yaxham should not be a Service Centre, there is also a response form if you would like to share your views, and an item on the Blog.  

A public meeting on 15th July at Breckland Council starting at 9.30 am to discuss the emerging sites and by implication the Service Centre designation. There is a Parish Council Meeting on 21st July at 7.30pm. Please come and share your views - don't leave it to the Politicians!!
